Robert Spencer on Ernie Sanders' show!

  • This just in! Robert Spencer will be on Pastor Ernie Sanders radio show on Sept. 4 at 9:30PM. Besides Robert Spencer's excellent new book; Religion of Peace?: Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn't(which I have just begun) the other topic of discussion; the phony Rev himself. According to an email I received from Mr. Spencer, Pastor Ernie Sanders confirmed to him everything I have said about Jim Sutter.
Sutter is mentally ill, and has cooked up lies about many, many people. He is, said Pastor Ernie, a danger to himself and to others.

Don't forget everyone Sept. 4 at 9:30PM on WHKW 1220 AM in Cleveland, Ohio you can listen live. Call in numbers: 216-901-0933 or Toll Free 888-677-9673.

Sutter sez: "Even though Ernie and I parted ways under less than the best circumstances (I transferred to a different church when Ernie joined an extremist movement, I’ll be doing an article about that in the future), he still says that I’m the best theologian he’s met in a long time, and that the only way he’d consider me dangerous is that I can defeat anyone in a debate who doesn’t use facts and logic. "
I say "Nuts to you, Sutter!" but I bet we'll see that expose sooner rather than later.

I would just like to add one more thing.
The statement that Sutter is dangerous should tell people to be cautious in personal contact with him such as email. As Foehammer noted, he has no sense of boundaries.

FOIA request submitted. We shall know a lot more about Navy CMDR Sutter in about 90 days or so.

FOIA reminds me, Lady P.
Could you add a PDF of this to your internet archive site?
I find it more persuasive than his usenet postings that he did once claim he was awarded the Navy Cross and suggested that he was a SEAL by having that emblem up next to "his" decorations.

From Sutter today:
"Another example, I'm told (and it is being investigated by the proper authorities) is that money has changed hands to try to get someone from my past to deny something. (I have the specifics, but I - and others - will wait to see if the actual felony is committed - we should know on Sept 4th.) Unfortunately, you've wasted your money, he ratted you out. He loves controversy, and you handed it to him on a platter. What you think he's going to deny is in my hands, in writing, with his original signature on it, along with the witness signature, and was verified and kept in the custody of the State of Ohio - and has been there for years, since a few days after it was originally signed."

Interesting; I will have to blog on this, it seems three years of probation for doing exactly the same thing (faked a death threat then made a false police report) didn't teach Sutter much of a lesson.

FromThe Plain Dealer Sep 18, 1990

[James M. Sutter] admitted he lied about the car and told [George W. White] he had become "over- zealous" in his pursuit of the investigation of Dr. Edward LaMonte Ohlson. Ohlson is under federal investigation in connection with an advance-fee loan scam involving millions of dollars.

"Assistant U.S. Attorney James V. Moroney said the FBI also is investigating whether Sutter may have sent threatening letters to himself, which he claimed were from Ohlson, and whether a burglary of the BBB offices in May, after which Sutter claimed part of Ohlson's file was stolen, really occurred."

A person who has a *history* of filling false police reports and put on probation for lying to FBI should be careful when he threatens to do so again.
