In a post decrying ad-hominem attacks on character, our dear friend and (not-so) Reverend Jim Sutter posts a message he received from Cristy Li (I don't know who she is) and comments about it as such:

Now, let us look at what Jimmy says about Ms. Li:
This statement, in essence, calls Ms. Li a liar. He offers no explanation or even attempts to offer any type of proof for his attack on her character. By the definition of ad-hominem attacks he posts in this self-same post, his response to Ms. Li is, in fact, an ad-hominem attack.
This, from the guy who claims to be against all hate, and provide only verifiable facts, yet he constantly lashes out with these personal attacks at those who dare to challenge his status the the ultimate and final authority on what is and what isn't hate speech, and who have the gall to tell him he is wrong when he claims it is illegal for one person to say something that offends another.

2. Person B makes an attack on person A.
3. Therefore A's claim is false.

Ms. Li says she was "Born in Ohio and attended Ohio State University, former Law Clerk, I was married in 2002 to a native from China and have no children" (which is not quite true.)

I read that myself and thought, "Huh?"
The rest of this is priceless, too.
Sutter breezily says, "She writes for Townhall.com (one of the identified hate sites)..."
So now TownHall.com should be in his world illegal hate speech. What an amazingly ego- centric world view.
He also says, "Ohio State University confirms that Ms. Li, of Columbus Ohio 43201, is a student at the Fisher College of Business, majoring in marketing and training to write magazine advertisements. "
While you can find a student with a similar name at OSU (and boy am I steamed to find out that OSU publishes the addresses of students publicly- I mean, THAT certainly makes things easier for the coed stalking ommunity-), he offers no evidence that they are the same Cristy Li.
Well lets just say that his information on Ms. Li as per his usual "research" is wrong. She is not a student at Fisher College of Business. And she really did get married in 2002 to a native from China.
I would like to know how someone could do something that dishonest. Of course, in some ways it is very clear that he is stupid.
He has another blog, modestly titled "God's Eye View" (that gives you an insight into his ego, huh?)in which he wonders about the Latin Mass change and other pronouncements of Pope Benedict 16. It is clear that he does not even understand what the Pope was saying.(According to Sutter, "The real shock was Pope Benedict's belief that Protestants cannot even have their own churches!")
Yeah I read that. He either didn't read what the Pope said (more than likely) or didn't understand. He also has no clue about The Tridentine Mass. I actually happen to have a copy of the 1962 missal there are no anti-semitic prayers in that missal.
